Using the tools

CronLens is provided free of charge for general information and convenience. You may use the tools for personal and commercial work. You may not use the site in a way that breaks the law, disrupts the service, or tries to gain unauthorised access to it.

No warranty

The tools and the explanations are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy. We test our tools and describe their limits, but mistakes can happen, and standards or third-party software change over time.

About cron results

CronLens models how several scheduling systems read cron expressions. It is not the scheduler itself. Results about daylight saving time, in particular, are marked on the pages as documented, observed or unclear, and the behaviour of the real system can differ, for example after a software update. Schedule times shown are the scheduled instants, not guarantees of when work will start.

Check results before relying on them

Always verify important results (for example before deploying a configuration, running a job in production or making a decision that has financial, legal or safety consequences). The tools are not professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its results. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Third-party content and links

The site links to third-party websites, for example official documentation. It currently shows no advertising; if that changes, the Privacy Policy will say so first. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices. See the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The site's text, design and code are owned by CronLens, an independent project operated from Indonesia unless stated otherwise. You own what you enter into the tools and the results they produce for you.
